cover-corpo-donneIn the book, I recount the genesis of our documentary, reactions to it, the unexpected interest of younger generations, and the need to move away from stereotypes to reach a new definition of the ‘feminine’. Additionally, it sheds light on the tools we can employ to better read and interpret TV images and the messages conveyed. In the chapter ‘New eyes for TV,’ the book moves from criticism to the introduction of strategies for watching TV with a critical sense. “Just switching the TV off is pointless, the real revolutionary act is to watch it, sitting right beside those who watch it all the time”.
